BLOXY B.V. (“BLOXY,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) develops and publishes software applications, including mobile apps (each an “App,” collectively the “Apps”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information across our Apps. It applies to all Apps published by BLOXY B.V. unless a specific App links to its own separate privacy policy, in which case that App-specific policy takes precedence for that App.
Many of our Apps are designed as client applications that connect to third-party services or servers you choose or control — for example, software you or your organization self-host. In those cases, we do not collect, transmit, or store the data you view or create through those services: that data remains with the operator of the service you connect to, and any access credentials you enter are typically stored only locally on your device.
Some Apps may additionally collect a limited amount of data of their own — for example, to provide core functionality, remember your settings, send notifications, or improve reliability through crash reporting or usage analytics. What, if anything, a particular App collects depends on that App’s specific functionality, and is disclosed as described in Section 4 below.
Depending on the specific App, the following categories of data may be involved. Not every App collects every category — see Section 4 for how to check what applies to the App you’re using.
The exact data practices for each App — what is collected, how it’s used, and any third-party SDKs involved — are disclosed in that App’s listing on the Apple App Store (“App Privacy” section) and/or Google Play Store (“Data safety” section), and, where applicable, within the App itself. Please review the store listing for the specific App you use to see its individual data practices.
Some Apps may integrate third-party services, such as crash-reporting, analytics, or push-notification providers. Where an App uses such services, the relevant providers and their role are disclosed in that App’s store listing as described in Section 4.
We do not sell your personal data. We only share data where necessary to operate a specific App’s disclosed features (for example, with a crash-reporting or analytics provider named in that App’s listing), to comply with applicable law, or with your consent.
Where an App stores data locally on your device (such as credentials in iOS Keychain or Android’s secure storage), its security relies on standard OS-level protections (encryption, device passcode/biometrics). Where an App connects to an external server or service, we recommend using a properly secured connection (e.g., HTTPS) to protect data in transit. Where BLOXY does process data directly for a given App, we apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it.
Our Apps are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data through an App that does collect data, please contact us so we can address it.
Where BLOXY acts as the data controller for data an App collects directly (per Section 4), you have rights under the GDPR and applicable Dutch law, including the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of your data, the right to data portability, the right to object, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). You can exercise these rights by contacting us at [email protected].
Where an App connects to a server or service you or a third party controls (per Section 2), the data on that server is controlled by its operator, not BLOXY, and rights over that data should be exercised against that operator.
Where BLOXY processes data directly for a given App and that processing involves a transfer outside the European Economic Area, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect new Apps or features. We will update the “Effective date” above when changes are made. Continued use of an App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
